Mammals of the Himalays

After snow leopards the most commonly photographed mammals are the Himalayan Ibex (a favorite prey of the snow leopard) and the red fox.

The males have beautify spiral horns that are much longer than the females.

Red Fox

This is the same species of red fox that we have in North America (with a tail that is a bit more bushy due to the colder weather).
