The stealthy leopard is a lone hunter that routinely hunts from the ground, stalking its prey until it gets close enough for an explosive pounce. Once its prey is dead it eats part of it to lighten it up, then brings the rest up the tree with powerful jaws, neck muscles, and nails, for safekeeping from other predators.
